I just want to say that this is wonderful and thank you for providing this information. I am in Canada and there is not a tons of information related to Adult with ADD. I noticed that you mentioned a few times that the light and other stuff were not the best but honestly, it does not matter as we get such good information. The most important thing is to get it.

    Thank you again,

    Linda

I wish I had this info 14 years ago — when I was trying to survive in a corporate environment! Back then, I was misdiagnosed as bipolar. I was told my behaviours couldn’t be explained by this illness…basically cop on! Yes, I left that environment and fell apart without the structure! (And still in pieces)

It’s good to know my guilt, shame, avoidance, lack of structure etc. all have a label…and it’s not bad character.

These skill sets we have to learn come more natural to others. I relate this to learning to drive a manual transmission, in a foreign country, later in life. Took me a while to “get it”, but it’s now second-nature and gets me where I need to go.

Thanks for the tips, the awareness, and encouragement!
